Meet our driver at Haridwar and proceed to Phata (185 km / 6–7 hrs). En route visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple at GuptKashi — "Hidden Benares," associated with the Pandavas' search for Shiva. Dinner and overnight at Phata.
Early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag. Local jeep to Gaurikund, then trek 18 km to Kedarnath (or pony / doli / helicopter charter from Phata). No vehicles beyond Sonprayag. Evening visit to Sankaracharya Samadhi beside the temple; attend evening aarti.
Early morning temple darshan. After breakfast check out and trek down to Gaurikund; take local jeep back up to Sonprayag; transfer to Phata. Overnight at Phata.
After breakfast, drive to Badrinath (165 km / 6 hrs). En route visit Narshing Temple (winter seat of Badrinathji) and Sankracharya Math at Joshimath. Evening aarti at Badrinath.
Early morning bath at Tapt Kund (hot water spring), then Badrinath temple darshan. Breakfast, check out. Explore Mana Village, Ganesh Gufa, Vyas Gufa, Saraswati River, Bheem Pul. Then proceed to Rudraprayag via the four prayags.
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar (155 km / 5–6 hrs). En route visit Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag Sangam. If time permits, local sightseeing in Rishikesh. Drop at Haridwar railway station / airport for onward journey.
