Do Dham by Helicopter
A seamless ascent to both shrines. One night at Sersi, one at Badrinath, with the cloud-line as your companion. Sahastradhara Helidrome → Kedarnath shuttle → Badrinath helipad → home.
Four shrines carved into the spine of the Himalayas. We fly you there in a single breath of sky.
For over a decade, Atulya Hotels has threaded helicopters, hotels, and ground crews across the most demanding pilgrim route in India — the Char Dham. From Dehradun we lift into the clouds, skim the shoulder of the Garhwals, and set down at Kedarnath's ancient gate.
Whether you come by helicopter in three days or by road in twelve, the mountain remembers every pilgrim. We are simply the hands that carry you to it.
A seamless ascent to both shrines. One night at Sersi, one at Badrinath, with the cloud-line as your companion. Sahastradhara Helidrome → Kedarnath shuttle → Badrinath helipad → home.
All four sacred shrines flown — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in six days. One night each at Kharsali, Harsil, Sersi and Badrinath, with VIP darshan and full ground support at every Dham.
Haridwar → Phata → Kedarnath → Badrinath → Rudraprayag — a pilgrim's road back to the mountain. Choose trek, pony or heli-charter from Phata.

"The helicopter journey was breathtaking — Kedarnath and Badrinath in two days. Ground team handled every detail, even the weather wait at Sersi."
"Travelled with my parents (both 70+). The Atulya team adjusted the pace, organised oxygen at Kedarnath, and arranged a palki without a fuss. Worth every rupee."
"Family of seven, three generations. Booking was transparent — exact prices, no surprises. The driver and the Joshimath hotel staff were the highlight."
The Do Dham by Helicopter — mapped minute by minute. Scroll through the flight from Dehradun's Sahastradhara Helidrome to the ancient gate at Kedarnath, onward to Badrinath, and home.
Per-person pricing in Indian Rupees, based on group size and vehicle class. Prices descend as your group grows. Kedarnath accommodation remains ashram/camp based across all tiers.
Source of the Yamuna. Surya Kund boils prasadam rice; a 6-km trek or palki takes you to Goddess Yamuna's seat.
Where the Ganga descended to earth. A white-marble shrine by the Bhagirathi; Gangnani Kund's hot water warms the journey.
The highest of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Ancient, stone-hewn, weathered by millennia of snow — the heart of the Panch Kedar.
Painted in saffron and vermillion beneath Nilkantha peak. Tapt Kund's hot spring for a ritual bath; Mana village — India's last — a short walk away.
Atulya staff meet you at Sersi and Badrinath helipads, escort you through temple queues, and handle every transfer so your mind stays at the altar.
Where the temple authorities permit, we secure priority darshans — so the climb is long but the wait, short.
From camp cots at Kedarnath to the Sarovar Portico at Badrinath. Choose a tier, and every hotel along the route is matched to it.
Helicopter capacity at altitude is precise. We record every pilgrim's weight at briefing, balance flights accordingly, and fly safely in the Garhwal's thin air.
We handle the online yatra registration on your behalf where mandatory — one less form between you and the mountain.
Network at Badrinath is thin — but our Dehradun desk is always within reach. Four numbers. WhatsApp. Email. Ready.
Everything pilgrims actually ask us — about helicopters, weather, age limits and refunds.
The yatra season runs from late April / early May to October–November. The most pleasant months are May, June, September and the first half of October. July–August have heavy monsoon and frequent helicopter cancellations.
Helicopter packages: 60–90 days in advance. Slots are limited and peak season
(May–June) sells out months ahead.
Road packages: 30–45 days in advance is
ideal for hotel availability and fares.
The helicopter yatra is actually easier for elderly pilgrims because it eliminates the 16-km Kedarnath trek and long mountain drives. However, high altitude (Kedarnath is at 3,583 m) can affect anyone with heart, lung or BP conditions — please carry your doctor's clearance.
One soft bag, maximum 3 kg per pilgrim. Suitcases and hard trolleys are not permitted. Excess baggage can be safely stored at our Dehradun office or your hotel free of charge until you return.
If a sector is grounded by the operator due to weather, we offer one of: (a) reschedule to the next available slot, (b) road transfer if the timeline allows, or (c) refund of the unflown helicopter component as per our cancellation policy.
Yes — every pilgrim must register on the official Uttarakhand Tourism portal. We complete this on
your behalf as part of every package; you only need to share scanned ID proofs.
Official portal: registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.
